Eva’s Bright Boho Room

As she always does, Eva is keeping us on our toes. And this time, it was in the tube of climbing out of her crib. Which meant a new big girl bed, which meant mom got the itch to redecorate again.
Her nursery of pastel pink, flowers, and bunnies was a lovely theme, but it didn’t fit our Eva. She is bold, she is bright, and she is sunshine. After I found her bed, which is a daybed from World Market, I knew she needed a fun, boho room. Her Opalhouse quilt from target is how I decided on the berry color for her walls. A lot of the decor is from Hobby Lobby, and I collected it all until I figured I had enough for her gallery type wall.
The medallions in shades of blue are actually ceiling tiles from Amazon; I thought they’d fit the theme well. And the beautiful tapestry is from Francesca’s.

Whimsical Boho Playroom

This playroom took months to add onto our house, but it’s finally complete. The room was designed around the amazing rug, and I’m so happy with how it all came together. I wanted it all white, with big pops of color everywhere, and a boho feel. This room was designed with my three year old son’s love of orange in mind, and my nearly one year old daughter – hopefully she likes pink! The Ikea chairs were the perfect touch, along with the table and chairs from Target.

Leo’s Modern Adventure Room

When Leo transitioned out of the crib, I knew I wanted to re-do his nursery into a fun new theme. I was really into mint, and geo type designs, which is how is mountain wall came to life.
I also knew I had to have IKEA’s Kura bed, to help his transition out of the crib go as smoothly as possible. I painted it all white, and has been a hit with Leo. He feels secure in it, and can’t really fall out, since his mattress is on the ground.

Leo’s Whimsical Playhouse

A good friend gave us their old playhouse, and my wheels started spinning immediately. I had my husband powerwash all of the chipping stain, and I sanded it down after that. I stained the majority of the playhouse, then painted the trim white, and did a pretty mint color for the flower boxes and door. My husband put pavers down for the floor, and I added a cute banner from Hobby Lobby to the door.
