Hi! I'm Christine (:

I'm a self-taught Photoshop pro, photographer, and a habitual DIYer who loves creating invitations, websites, logos, party decor - you name it!

I'm a proud mother of a 7 year old boy, Angelo, and 5 year old girl, Chriselle, and Averey, our newest addition!

I'm also a bit of a dabbler. I dabble in a little bit of everything (like woodworking, paper crafting, sewing, crocheting, baking, etc). I'm hoping to use this blog as a way to share my ideas and tips with you...enjoy!

Sweet Pea Baby Shower Sweets Table

Modern Sweet Pea Baby Shower

I had the honor of helping plan a baby shower for a very dear friend of mine, Diana. We’ve known Diana & Joel, and their son, Caleb, for a little over 2 years now, and they have grown to be like our second family. Diana and Joel had a very difficult time conceiving Caleb, and it turns out that it was even harder this time around. So, you can imagine my excitement when she told me the good news – and even more so when I had the opportunity to help plan her baby shower!

Shabby Farmhouse Party

Shabby Cottage Farmhouse Birthday

I helped a good friend of mine plan her daughter’s 5th birthday party and since her daughter wanted a farm animal petting zoo and pony rides, this cottage theme would work perfectly! I just love the mix of shabby gingham with the roses and the western mix of fonts! I didn’t want to do a pony party, barnyard party or a cowgirl party because I’ve seen it done so many times. This theme would also be great for a bridal shower, baby shower, tea party, etc. I can customize the candy labels to your specific needs and the birthday banner can be downloaded for free in my shop!

Ninja Birthday Party

Ninja Turtle Birthday Party

It has been a few years since any of our kids had a birthday party, and since our son, Angelo, has been doing extremely well in school and the rest of his extracurricular activities (karate/jiu-jitsu, baseball, breakdancing class and gymnastics), we decided to throw him a BIG birthday party this year. He picked out his party theme – Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and then the research and ideas began to flow. The first thing I did was create his invitation. I decided to do a comic book ninja turtle theme for the invitation..and the rest of the party stemmed from there.

Averey's Nursery 4

Averey’s Nursery

Because we already have a girl’s room full of pink and a boy’s room that is surrounded by blue, we decided to create a gender-neutral space for our 3rd baby, Averey (boy). Although we procrastinated with this (waited until I was 34 weeks to start this project), we ended up spending less than $800 on the entire room (including furniture) and it only took us 6 days to complete!
