My sweet little boy turned 3 on June 25th and we celebrated with a train themed birthday party. He is absolutely obsessed with trains so the theme was perfect!

This party was styled for a friend whose daughter turned 1 in December.

Our good friends own an apple orchard so we decided it would be a great place to hold an apple themed birthday party in the fall.  The trees were full of appes, cider was brewing and donuts were hot!

Our baby turned 1 on June 25th and I, of course, went all out for the celebration!  My husband and I already owned a collection of red partyware so I decided that red had to be incorporated into his party. The whale inspiration came from a Pottery Barn Kids bedding collection that we almost selected for his nursery.  The stripe, gingham and polka dot patterns were inspired by a pennant bunting I saw on Etsy and many of the other details were inspired by ideas I found while poking around Pinterest!  {photo credit – Simply Mella Photography}
