When my best friend had her baby we knew she needed a shower even though this was baby number three because it was her first BOY! We went with a dinosaur theme but freshened it up with masculine colors, metallics, and great florals.
When I found out my best friend was having a baby boy we wanted to shower her with a fun Popsicle inspired baby shower. She was due in the middle of summer so the theme was quite appropriate! We even made signature Popsicles for our guests.
When I found out I was having boy/girl twins it was quite a surprise because the doctor originally told us we were having two boys! I was already neck deep in nursery decor and there was no turning back. I simply threw in a few more dusty pink items and called it a day! I went with a modern boho nursery with geometrical accents.
My daughter is like every other 4 year old and obsessed with Disney princesses. I wanted to avoid the typical tacky princess party so I went out on my own and came up with a classier version of the classic princess party!
My daughter is obsessed with mermaids lately and I wanted to steer clear of the typical Ariel party (because I like to make my life more difficult.) I wanted to try a balloon arch and it went pretty well for my first one! I chose deep blues, teals, and shimmery gold to give an ocean vibe to the party.
For my twins’ first birthday I went with a prickly “pair” theme because they are a pair. ;) It made sense to decorate with cacti because that trend is so popular right now. I based my whole design off of some wrapping paper that I spied at Meri Meri. I created my own cacti garlands, bought fake cacti in the dollar bin at Target, and found other cactus inspired decor online. I love the way it turned out!
