When I started designing this neutral safari nursery, I knew that I wanted to create a calm & comfortable space that was child-friendly but also a place where my husband & I would feel comfortable (read: I didn’t want it to look like a pre-school). One of my first big decisions was to keep the walls white & to add pops of color on the ceiling, in the rug & in other accessories (mobile, changing pad, etc.). I slowly curated the pieces for this space thru-out my pregnancy & was thrilled with the outcome – a perfect space for our daughter!
