I wanted to create unique, modern and simple decorations for my daughter’s birthday party. It was a small party with only 3 of her friends and few of our close friends and family. I did not want to invest much on the decoration and I did not want to do a character themed party, but still keep it fun and girly.

I had almost no time to prepare for my daughter’s first birthday and I did not want to spend a lot of money. I organized a cake and sweets party and invited a few friends and neighbors. I took a couple of super easy DIY projects and I did almost everything with a pack of colored paper and tissue paper.
