Sweet Southwestern Nursery

It was always important to me to include items from our shower and our friends and family in our nursery. I started to notice a theme after our second shower of lots of pink and yellow and some Southwestern touches, so I ran with it, or more like waddled with it! I scored that LuLu & Georgia rug on Craigslist and picked up several items from Home Goods. Most of the clothing, books, mocs, and art came from sweet friends and small Etsy shop owners! We just found out our girl will be here early and couldn’t be more excited (& relieved!) to have her room ready!
A few tips, don’t feel like you have to paint. We had plans to paint one wall or wallpaper but had to move quickly towards the end! We thought, why hide some of these beautiful clothing items? Let’s make them part of the art in her room! Try to stick to your color palette but also introduce a couple of wild cards items. Lastly, shop small, Instagram and Etsy are great resources for finding items you’ll never find at bigger stores!
