David’s 2nd Birthday ~ The 3 Little Pigs

My son David loves the “3 Little Pigs” so thats what we went with for the theme of his 2nd birthday party.  It was a small party with just his Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and grandparents.  He loved every second

Taylor’s Berry Special 4th Birthday Party

This party was thrown for my daughter’s 4th birthday.  She requested a Strawberry Shortcake party with an Alex’s Strawberry Lemonade Stand.  We used Strawberry Shortcake as an inspiration and incorporated other colors and a “Strawberry Taylor” which was a caricature created by my sister, Abbey, of Abbey Malcolm Letterpress + Design.   The birthday girl had only one activity on her list of activities for the party and that was a “keyata” or pinata with Miss Strawberry Shortcake herself on it.  That was easy enough with a quick trip to Party City.   It rained almost the entire party (until the end) but the parents and children didn’t mind at all, hey, water balloons and a pool = wet anyway and it definitely beats the heat!

Construction ~ “I Dig Being 1”

For my little man, I was def. not into sailboats and sesame street” for his first birthday party. He is all boy and loves trucks and to get dirty so nothing would suit him better than a construction themed birthday party.

Pink Cowgirl

This party was for my daughter for her third birthday. I am trying to keep birthday parties to just our family and close friends for as long as I possibly can before having to make the jump to her preschool friends and ultimately school friends once she hits elementary school, however, I want them to still be fun with lots of details and decorations for her to remember. I loved that she wanted to do a cowgirl party, as I love horses and of course she needed it to be pink – her favorite color.
