Katie Easton

I’m a mama to three kids under the age of 4. We always try to find the fun in each day, even during the messy moments. Motherhood isn’t always easy but it’s always worth it!

Playful Playroom

This playroom is so much fun for everyone! When it comes to kids stuff and baby gear, it seems to somehow multiply overnight… it piles up and it’s easy to let it take over the house. I love my kids but I don’t always love the clutter of their stuff! I mean, I can’t be the only one, am I right? To keep all of their things under control, we’ve put together the ultimate playful playroom to keep everyone happy! I’m not the jealous type but I would have loved to have a room like this when I was growing up! This playroom is packed with:
• arts & crafts supplies
•books, books, and more books
•dress-up clothes and shoes
• kitchen and baby area for pretend play
• TV for movies and music
•storage for everything
•comfortable seating
This playroom helps us control the chaos and it is perfect for kids of multiple ages. My kids are 6 months, 2 years, and 4 years so I know they’ll be able to play together in this room and enjoy it for years to come!

Baby Boy Baseball Bedroom

When my husband and I found out we were expecting our very own sweet little World Series Baby after the Chicago Cubs won the World Series in 2016, we knew we had to connect the baby to baseball somehow. A few months later when we found out the baby was a boy, we decided to give him a baseball bedroom! We painted three rooms with pinstripes and the last wall with baseball stitches. The shelves we use for both storing and displaying things gives the room a rustic feel which I love because it’s so reminiscent of the history behind baseball. Taping the room and painting all of the stripes was tedious and time consuming but the end result was so worth it. The baby’s baseball bedroom really knocks it out of the park!
