Floral & Coral Baby Girl’s Nursery

With our second (and first girl) on the way, I wanted to embrace “girly” without going too pink. I found the Buttercup wallpaper on the Project Nursery shop, and the nursery grew from there. It was fun to mix and match corals, and pink, with gold and white. Installing the wallpaper was easier than anticipated, with it being pre-pasted and each panel print exactly the same. This eliminated multiple steps, including having to line up the pattern. It was already done for you! I invited a few friends over, made dinner, and then had a wallpaper party. It took us about 3 hours to install 6 panels along the accent wall, and it really defines the space!
I balanced the wallpaper with a gallery wall across the nursery and can’t wait to fill in the frames with pictures of our son meeting our sweet little girl once she arrives.
The other project to note is the bow organizer.  I needed a way to organize the many bows and headbands we received for our baby girl. After finding the perfect gold circle shelf, I simply got a slim curtain rod and slid it through the shelf. All of the bows and headbands slip right on – and just as easily off when I need to use one! I love the simplicity, and it allows the bows to double as decor. Win, win.
