A Whimsical Basement Playroom

We transformed a neutral basement space into a colorful playroom for our toddlers. We used many items that we already had on hand and lots of organization to create a cozy, whimsical space to enjoy the winter months. We painted one wall with chalkboard paint, strung up some outdoor cafe lights and hung some art on the walls.

Charlotte’s Peach and Coral Mini Nursery

We had the challenge of designing a small nursery for our daughter in an unused space off our master bedroom. We hired a contractor to widen the doorway, adding french doors and a window to the space. My dad added grey planked boards to the sloped ceiling and we painted the room a pale peach to make this space light and bright.

A Colorful Camp-Inspired Toddler Room

With a little sister on the way, I decided to transform my son’s neutral nursery into a bright, fun, camp-inspired big kid room. He loves colors and I wanted to reflect his happy personality in a room where he could play and grow.
