I was initially got pregnant 2 1/2 years ago. I fought a very hard, debilitating case of morning sickness that required a lot of medical intervention. Almost six months into my pregnancy I went to a follow up to find that I had lost my baby. I was heartbroken! After taking some time to heal ( although never fully healing from such a traumatic loss ) I soon became pregnant once again. Once again, in and out of the hospital daily with what I was expecting my new baby girl. While sick in bed I came across this mural that was the inspiration in which direction I was going to take this room. While trying to pull the project together with accessories and finish touches I came across this wooden canvas of angel wings to represent the loss of my previous baby. To me, it signifies that my newest addition will be watched over by her guardian angel.
