In transitioning into a little lady, this 2 year old needed a room that could grow with her. Full of energy and personality, this room had to satisfy tea time, sleep time and play time. While nothing chosen was too delicate, each investment piece isn’t something she’ll grow out of anytime soon! Hence, my number one advise for moms: buy pieces that will grow with them. Sure, they grow out of books, stuffed animals and play tables, but dressers, beds and nightstands are worth the investment. Therefore, this chic 2 year old has a room she’ll love now and for a long time to come.

An expecting mother was eager to get her daughter’s nursery complete before her summer arrival! Unsure of where to start, this expectant mom called on me to transform the room with less than 4 months to go. Along with a modest budget, I was able to transform this unused space with a fresh Petal Pink color for the walls and which blackout curtains to graze the window sill. Sturdy furnishings that can transition to toddler beds and beyond and removable changing station atop the dresser make the furnishings one this baby girl can grow up with. All the while keeping in mind plenty of play space to crawl around, a spot for mommy-and-me feeding time, and soothing lighting throughout make this room a perfect set up for a new baby girl.
