Nautical Nursery

Felix Nautical Nursery

Having worked with Felix’s parents twice already, to be invited back a third time was pretty special!
I had a great understanding of their style and knew we could try something a little bold….while still remaining a really classic base.
We started with the navy grasscloth wallpaper and added in a beautiful wainscoting base.  Little nautical touches throughout the space incorporate the family’s love with the ocean.

Fairy Tale Nursery

Story’s Fairy Tale Nursery

Story’s fairy tale nursery was inspired by the recent movie, Cinderella.  A fairy tale of blush pinks, gold and white.
The room is a very small space but we managed to get the layout perfect to incorporate everything that Story’s parents wanted.  No detail was too small!

Boy's Shared Room

Hugh & Charles Shared Room

My little boys, Hugh & Charles, bedroom has seen a few makeovers but the latest one managed to snare a place in the Australian House & Garden magazine Top 50 rooms of 2015!
I wanted the space to be versatile for the boys, modern but not over the top monochrome (been there, done that!).  I used texture rather than lots of colour and incorporated their interests to make sure they loved the space.
We love books, so using the Ikea ribba ledges as book ledges were perfect for us.
This room design could easily transition from little boy to teen…..although it won’t because me, being me, I’ll change it up as often as I can!

Coastal Themed Nursery

Alec’s Coastal Nursery

The brief from Alec’s parents was to create a coastal nursery.  They live close to the beach and wanted to implement some elements within the room, adding texture as well.

Modern Hamptons Nursery

Hugo’s Modern Hamptons Nursery

My client wanted a modern hamptons look for her little ones nursery.  Originally we played with the idea of board & batten around the wall, but in the end we went for this bold impact wallpaper in traditional navy & white.  It’s such a great feature in the room!  We also included elements of boating and travel in the room as they are a family past time.

Leo’s Serene Nursery

Leo’s nursery was designed to be a serene and sophisticated space that used texture rather than colour.  Lots of white with timber and touches of copper and dusty blue.
