Woodland Whimsy Blush Nursery

My little girl was born this summer and I wanted her nursery to reflect a sweet and soothing whimsical space for us. Her furniture was procured from Pottery Barn Kids and my husband and I made the shelf as a DIY weekend project. I would advise first time parents that when it is time to buy nursery furniture, don’t skimp on quality. We first bought a budget dresser and it was not nearly sturdy enough to double as her changing table as we had planned. I would recommend searching for good quality materials on items like dressers that will be used (and likely climbed on) for many many years to come!
Although she is sleeping in our room for now, we enjoy story time in the glider and spend play time with her in the nursery. She loves looking around at all of the beautiful details, soft colors and toys. The inspiration for the nursery came from other cute nurseries that we saw on Project Nursery.
