This nursery was inspired by the Moon and Stars nursery I originally painted for Hudson. Logan’s Mom asked if I could incorporate jungle animals into the nursery. I loved that idea. I made the animals very playful. They’re swinging and jumping star to star. The nursery was beautifully decorated by his Mom.
The nursery was designed to transition into little Tommy’s big boy room. His parents are huge Yankees fans. His dad picked his 3 favorite players for the lockers. The details in the mural include Derek Jeter’s bat and mitt, Joe DiMaggio’s mitt and Jorge Posada’s equipment. The ball was fauxed to have the texture of a real baseball.
Murals and more by Patrice
This room was designed by Rylie’s Mom, Courtney and created around her eclectic modern style, her love for owls and a few sentimental gifts she received at her shower including an owl painting from a family member.
The tree is hand painted. I also hand painted 3-dimensional flowers to match the color scheme. The flowers, rhinestones and glitter paint added an extra sparkle and feminine touch to the tree. The owls are bejeweled with Swarovski crystals. The beautiful damask bedding is from Carousel Designs. The modern furniture and beautiful rug is from Pottery Barn.
Photo 1 – Introducing Baby Rylie!! I love that they used the mural as a backdrop for Rylie’s first photo shoot.
Addison’s big girl room was designed by her Mom. A sparkling flower garden was painted around her bed and I added a few whimsical fairies throughout the garden. The flowers and fairies are bejeweled with crystals and glitter paint. Her name was also hand-painted to match the room. The quote on the wall is “Like glittering dust on fairy wings, little girl dreams are of magical things.”
