Cruz’s Vintage Baseball Nursery

When we first learned we were pregnant, my hubby and I made an agreement: I it’s a girl I get a chandelier – if it’s a boy he gets a baseball theme. Since I myself am not much of a sports fan, I had to get creative. I wanted a room that would make my sports fanatic hubby happy, but something I could enjoy as well – so I decided to go with a “Vintage” baseball theme.

Tailgate Themed Baby Shower

My husband and I are so excited for our first child – P.J. – to arrive in a few months, that we threw a tailgate themed shower in his honor. My husband was a college football player and now coaches at the high school level in south Florida. We had a ton of fun decorating, using onesies as part of the theme and showcasing football in the invitations and center pieces. We also split the food up into pre-game, game time and post game sizes, with snazzy names for each item.

Kix’s Kickin’ Soccer Room

The room was designed for my son Kix Atticus. We are a soccer family and Kix is OBSESSED with anything “ball”. I painted the soccer mural background and the triptych canvas paintings. We kept everything low cost with shelving and dresser storage from Ikea. The locker nightstands were purchased through KidKraft. The soccer bed was handmade by Kix’s PawPaw. He loves to show off his “big boy” room! Designing your kid’s space? Need modern art? Check out my Etsy page to order your custom canvas artwork!
