Princess Birthday Party

Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo! You are cordially invited to.. a Royal birthday ball! Once upon a time, in a Kingdom not so far away.. our little Princess turned 5! We hope all of her dreams come true!

Turning one is not like turning 25 – it only happens once! That’s why I wanted to throw an extra special first birthday party for my little princess where the only decree of the day would be, “let them eat cake!” There’s just something so feminine and elegant yet fun about swans, which is why this bird was the perfect theme to plan around.

My daughter is like every other 4 year old and obsessed with Disney princesses. I wanted to avoid the typical tacky princess party so I went out on my own and came up with a classier version of the classic princess party!

I let miss Ava pick what kind of party she wanted to have this year. It wasn’t hard to guess she would pick “Cinderella-y”. Perfect choice! Such a classic princess. I first found the little stuffed mice on eBay which inspired me to work in the pink dress making scene from the movie. I was thrilled to find the pink dress from an online children’s boutique (unfortunately now closed but can find similar on Etsy). After that it was just crafting and setting up for the event. She loved her dress and glass slippers along with spending the day with her family and friends. It was truly magical.
