Polka dot nursery

I had so much fun putting together this nursery for our first and only babe, Renley. The baby safari animals with floral crowns were the first piece we had for the room, and the paint and furniture was styled around this artwork. My style is very neutral and clean, and I wanted the nursery to blend with the rest of our home but with a more fun and girly vibe. We love the way her room turned out and it makes all the time we spend in there so much more enjoyable!

A large gold polka dot wall is the backdrop to this little princess’s nursery. It was essential that we designed a really comfy reading and nursing corner too as this is where hours would be spent during the days and nights. The wall was painted in a dusty pink and we used gold decals to give it the ‘wow’. Crushed linen curtains in a pastel grey created the soft border to the windows. In the end it turned out to be a beautiful, classic and soothing nursery.

This is just a simple, clean, fun nursery for the newest little man in our lives.

We were expecting our first child, a baby girl, in January. The nursery began when we found a vintage dining room hutch that seemed perfect for a changing table. I also loved gold polka dots and used them a lot throughout the nursery to create a cohesive feel. I wanted the nursery to feel collected and curated.
