Morgan’s Pirate Party
This was my eldest daughter’s 6th birthday party. It would be her last party before becoming a big sister and we wanted to let her have the lime light one last time before she had to share LOL

Sea themed Nursery for my baby boy
We knew our son Jack would have a pirate party at some point, but we wanted to wait until he was old enough to appreciate it. He had so much fun! This whole party is DIY.
My son is way into pirate’s right now, so I found it only fitting to throw him a pirate themed birthday party. Since his birthday is in June, we’re lucky enough to have the entire party outside. I used some inspiration from various pirate parties I had seen online and embelished on them. All the signs, maps, booty bags, favors the bar, and the ship were all handmade. My husband is handy with the tools, so he’s nice enough to create what I think up-lol.
Plundering and feasting that is my kind of a birthday party! A few of your guests may be walking the plank. But they will all be leaving with a huge bounty of goodies. This pirate themed invite was inspired by one of my dear customers. Baby Dean makes a very good model for this first birthday invitation. I love all the details the pirate hat, treasure chest, pirate ship and the desert island!

For my sons’ 4th and 2nd birthdays we had a pirate party. Upon arrival the children were offered felt vests, a bandana, a fabric sash, an eye patch, a telescope and a loot box. They were then directed over to the buried treasure to look for items that were inside the loot box (to ensure that everyone got some of everything). Once everyone had arrived we popped ‘cannonballs’. I filled up some balloons with prizes (stickers and candy bracelets) and they had to run around and pop them all to find the prizes. Following that we had a cannonball fight, we had built pirate ships out of washer and dryer sized boxes with rivets and plans from www.mrmcgroovys.com and the cannonballs were balls out of our ball pit. We ended the party by having a scavenger hunt for our loot, apparently some pesky pirates hid it =) Along the way we ate lunch of some golden nuggets (chicken nugget platter from Chick-Fil-A), pieces of eight (french fries, also from Chick-Fil-A), some treasure mix (some homemade trail mix with gummy fish in them) and some fish food (gummy worms).
