Avery’s Coral and Mint Nursery
I wanted something girly, but not your traditional princess theme.

Pink & Gray are such girlie colors so I knew for sure I wanted to use them for our nursery. I didn’t want to have too much pink, so I thought gray walls with pink accents would be the perfect touch!

I wanted to create a peaceful, dreamy and relaxing escape for my baby girl, Giselle (not born yet, I’m due in July). Something modern, fun and fresh, with few touches of bright colors…Coral Pink & lime green.
I had a little space challenge in this room so having the dresser double as a diaper changing station worked out nicely.
This very girly pink princess nursery was one of our trademarked Gender Surprise Nurseries. When you don’t want to find out the gender of your baby, but want a nursery planned specifically for the gender anyway, you hire Jack and Jill Interiors to design a Gender Surprise Nursery. For one flat fee, I’ll plan an entire boy’s nursery and an entire girl’s nursery for your…right down to every little accessory! Then with your permission, I obtain the gender from your doctor and get to work ordering and installing the gender specific nursery behind locked doors. When you deliver your baby and bring him or her home from the hospital, your gender specific nursery awaits your first peek! It’s a great way to add to the fun and excitement of planning for your precious new bundle!
This particular toile pink nursery was initially planned for a home that was destroyed by Hurricane Sandy. Every item was selected to fit perfectly into a room with a vaulted ceiling, an entire wall of windows and another wall with a built-in shelving unit on which we were going to place pretty lined baskets and other baby goodies. When the family was forced to relocate to a new home, we found ourselves with a few design challenges making things work for a completely different space. The overabundance of picture-frame moulding was especially challenging and several items planned for the wall space simply woulding work now, including a very wide branch with birds decal and another decal featuring a favorite inspirational quote from mom-to-be. But in the end, we’re all very pleased with this baby girl nursery and the clients are thrilled that baby Jules will have a beautiful nursery despite Hurricane Sandy!
The picture frames above the crib will eventually hold sepia toned newborn photos and family photos. I don’t like hanging blank frames on the wall, so I cut up some coordinating wall paper and fabric to make a monogram plaque and silhouette to temporarily fill the voids.
A pink and gray nursery for our little girl that is classic, simple and feminine with attention to detail.
A musically inspired pink damask nursery for Melody decorated by her mom and her namesake and grandma, Ody (short for Melody).
My goal was to have a bright and cheerful nursery for my baby girl that could easily grow with her into a big girl room.
This Nursery Room was designed for Backstreet Boy AJ & his wife Rochelle McLean. We started off with a pink and leopard color palette, lending itself to a feminine glam concept with a bit of sass!
We wanted this room to be transitional for Ava as she grows, so instead of choosing pieces with a Juvenile look, we selected furnishings with a more classic style and convertible functions that she can use and will love for years to come. AJ & Rochelle were so wonderful to work with and they are incredibly happy with the finished product!
This is a simple room where almost everything is handmade or designed by us. We do not have a cradle because we already have a bed that we adjust to be more useful.
Since we know we are expecting a babygirl…we wish for this room! With a big help from my friend from ArtEPrumo, Sara, we got everything we wanted and some more…it’s lovely!
This nursery was a project of love! I took one of our plain white walled guest rooms and transformed it into a really special place.
