Mid-Century Modern Glam Girl Nursery

This nursery is extra special. After three years of unexplained infertility, two losses, and a round of IVF, we found out we were having a baby girl. The room started with the three rainbow watercolor prints by Ana Jones. We found work at a local art show right after our second loss. As tears run down my face as I write this, I loved the three pictures and knew my future baby had to have them in his/her room because that baby would be our double rainbow to our very long storm. I knew they would be over his/her crib despite what the room looked like.  I then found a vintage Broyhill dresser that set the mood for the room. I loved a blush, mustard, and green color scheme thanks to Pehr designs and their Lovely Llama mobile.  I also thought that mustard and green could be used for boys too, so if God gives us a boy next then all I would have to do it paint the walls. I could’ve gone a lot of directions with the room, but my friend Bre Bertolini had created this scallop wall in her girl’s room and I loved it. Then I knew she had to have velvet green curtains. Everything else fell in place.
I didn’t have a budget per se, but I am always cost-conscious. I wanted the West Elm x Pottery Barn crib but didn’t want to spend the money. Novogratz launched their furniture line around the same time and their crib was perfect. It was also more perfect since I could get it on Amazon with a gift card. Everything else was going to be brass from the beginning.
I wanted to share her nursery because I love it. It is my favorite room in our house. It is cozy, dramatic, and gorgeous to match the personality of our baby girl. I hope this nursery gives you some inspiration and gives you the courage to do something dramatic.

Floral Garden Party Girls Room

This is by far one of my favourite rooms. The room itself is quite small, so I wanted to add some interest to the room all while keeping it open and airy. I added two walls of this glorious garden floral wallpaper. Kept the remaining items very simple with a Jenny Lind bed and modern side table. The bookcase was a shorter profile so it wouldn’t take up additional rooms space. Character elements were added with wicker storage baskets and a feathered mirror (no longer available). Bedding was kept light with a blush pink comforter and a canopy overhead.

Whimsy, Feminine and DIY Nursery

I did a gender reveal photo session at 20 weeks and was over the moon excited that a baby girl was coming so I knew I wanted a gender specific nursery.  I wanted pops of color but a soft palate, I wanted whimsy and feminine, I wanted to mix things that weren’t all in a collection and I hope that I achieved my goal with still being cohesive.

Violet’s Vibrant Nursery

My goal was to have a bright and cheerful nursery for my baby girl that could easily grow with her into a big girl room.

Sadie’s Nursery

I am super excited to announce that the nursery is complete! It is exactly what I imagined in my head. I love going in there, sitting in the rocking chair and just looking at the room, thinking of what is to come! Here is the nursery for our sweet baby girl:

Garden Party

This is the desert table for Mafalda’s 4th birthday party.

“Apple of Our Eye” Party

I created this Apple of Our Eye party for my daughter, Charlotte’s, sixth birthday. I did not want the party to feel like a harvest so I incorporated crisp, modern printables and a preppy bright pink and apple green color scheme.

Maci Jay’s Nursery

The last baby and first girl, it had to be PINK! Because it was the last baby we found good used pieces to create the room.

Night Owl’s Nursery

Bright and cheery and perfect for a little princess. Owl’s watch over our little one in her pink and green paradise.

Pink Loves Green

Annie’s room is soft and comforting without the use of traditional baby fabrics. The Jacobean bumper fabric is given a youthful feel when combined with the pink and green polka dot and the pink buffalo check. Her soft chenille rug brings in a touch of yellow.

Keira’s 2nd Pink Ladybug Birthday Party!

Welcome to Keira’s ladybug inspired birthday party! I created this party with lots of love, sweat, and sleepless nights for the littlest love of my life:). I was so happy with how it all came together!

Aurora’s room

This nursery is for my Aurora. I wanted a Pooh room but hubby wanted Snow White to be there too. It took me about two months to finish the mural but totally worth it. These pictures were taken before we put all the furnitures in.

Lily’s Sweet Nursery

This Shabby-Chic nursery is feminine and sweet and a result of custom crib bedding, antique shop finds and restored furniture.
