Tiny Budget in a Tiny Room for a Tiny Princess

When we found out we were pregnant with our THIRD child, we were surprised, but, even more surprised to find out she was a girl!  We have two boys, and I’ve never really been into pinks and frills, so my original idea was to go with oranges and hot pinks. I wasn’t planning to put much effort into her room because I knew we didn’t have the budget or the space for it.
But, our baby was born 14 weeks early in December (she was due in April) and she weighed less than 1.5 lbs.  It was a tough time for all of us.   And, when I met her two days after she was born, I knew she was our princess.  And, all I kept thinking my little princess had to fight to come home, and when she did, I wanted to have to have something beautiful (and girly) ready for her.  And, despite our very small budget and small space, I was determined to give her the room she deserved.

Little Prince Nursery

Mom-to-Be loves the book, The Little Prince and wanted her son’s nursery to reflect her love of the book, and literature in general. Our talented muralist, Heather Davulcu painted the mural and quotes around the room adding a sense of sweet whimsy to the space. Bench made in the USA, we selected custom made nursery furniture in our custom color combination along with beautiful baby blue crib bedding which tied in well with the book’s colors and theme. We saved money by using store bought valances to keep the cost within the client’s budget. The empty frames on the wall will be filled with newborn photos of the baby shortly after birth.

Elegant Ballerina Room Any Girl Would Want!

This room was custom designed by Cheryl McConnell of Sweet Lullaby in Wyckoff, NJ.  Bedding and window treatments flow with beautiful ruffles, sparkling beads and luxerious bows!! The furniture was custom ordered and the muralist just sealed the deal with stunning silhouettes of ballerinas.
Murals were painted by Murals and more by Patrice.  Bejeweled with Swarvoski crystals, pearls and rhinestones.

Our sweet little customer wanted a ballerina room done with elegance that she can grow with!
