A Simple and Masculine Parisian Nursery
I designed this nursery for our first child.
After finding out we were expecting a baby boy, we knew a navy nautical themed nursery would be perfect for our first child. We wanted something that was classic and sophisticated. We really enjoyed planning this nursery to enjoy for many years.
My husband and I went through infertility as well as a loss of our first child, so Beckham was our miracle baby. Despite anything going on in our lives, knowing that I was carrying a healthy baby boy is what kept us anchored each and every day. A nautical themed nursery couldn’t have been a more perfect theme for our son’s room. I also wasn’t into the any of the monkey/jungle themes and wanted something he could grow into!
I wanted a nursery that my daughter could grow up in, not one that would always resemble a baby. She won’t be little for long so I designed a nursery that she could grow up in or at least last until she was ready to design her room. I also wanted something that was vintage looking with a modern flare to it.
Navy and cream nursery accented with red, yellow and green. Decorated with vintage furniture and toy finds, as well as complementary items we already had, like the squash racquets and b/w photography (taken of animals at the San Diego Zoo).
Max’s nursery is our cozy spot- dark blue/navy with gold accents and animal-themed artwork.
Our daughter Nora’s nursery is a classic space using a color palette of navy, coral and light gray for a preppy, girly feel.
A modern nautical nursery for our sweet baby boy, Mason!
