Season’s Change: Chloe & Tessa’s Big Girl Room

It was time for Chloe & Tessa to move out of their cribs and get a big girl’s room.  Their mother wanted something fun and creative and had the idea that the room change as the seasons change.  Using that concept I came up with the idea of using a tree decal on the focal wall.  In the spring & summer flowers bloom and butterflies flurry through the air.  In the fall we add colorful leaves, owls and lovely birds.  In the winter the room becomes a winter wonderland, the leaves all turn white and glittery snowflakes appear.

DIY Twins Nursery

A fun nursery for my twin boys filled with DIY projects including the bedding, rug, curtains, dresser, and wall decor. I’ve been dying to decorate a nursery for a long time and finally got the chance, so I went to town with the projects!

Twins Neutral Elegance Nursery

This Neutral and super Elegant Twins Nursery was one of my favorites because clients don’t usually request rooms as opulent as this.  The large damask print wallpaper and gold and ivory crib bedding were reminiscent of Old Hollywood and perfectly accented by the crystal accents in the lighting and dresser knobs.

Twins Nursery!

I wanted to create a more modern, clean, and sensory-happy nursery for my boy/girl twins!

Twin Nursery for Berkley and Haxton

Our obsession with geometric patterns and vibrant colors were our focal point in this nursery along with adding an arrangement of old and new.  We were aiming for a calm, relaxing room that could be comfortable for this growing family, designating specific colors to each twin to reflect their gender but still using the same print of fabric to show they came as a pair!

Twins – Boy Jungle Safari Adventure Nursery

We intend to keep the boys in the same room for the remainder of the time we live in our townhouse which will be at least 4 to 5 more years so I really wanted the perfect nursery that wasn’t too babyish so the boys could easily transition in it once they reach the toddler stage. Also, I didn’t want to spend a fortune in the process so between bargain hunting and “Do -It-Yourself” ideas I came up with – this is what I created ; -)

Twin Girls’ Serene Nursery

We are expecting twins girls in April, and wanted to create a very serene and feminine space for them.  I wanted a neutral room that could feel peaceful despite the inevitable chaos that comes with caring for infant twins, but also with enough pops of color and fun touches to make it visually stimulating for the girls.

Twin Munchkin Nursery

I wanted a happy, fun and neutral room for our soon-to-be born twins. The bright orange color on the feature wall makes me smile every time I walk into the room. Dad and grandpa painted the room a few months ago, and the rest of the nursery came together slowly since then.  All the furniture is neutral-black, white or grey, and other than the cribs, can be used in other rooms in our house once the twins are older. The biggest splurge was the chair. I opted not to go for a rocker/glider, so that we can use it in our basement family room later. Also, the chair is big and deep enough for me to doze in since there was no room for a day bed in this small room.

A Triplet Nursery!

Affording a nursery for 3 baby girls wouldn’t have been possible if I hadn’t started from scratch. Being able to pick out my own colors, patterns and design and have them all sewn together really made it original. All the crafts, pillows and drapes in the room are hand-made , painted-giving it just the personal touch I wanted for my girls. My sister in law sewed the bedding for me and did an amazing job. It’s definitely my dream nursery!

Boy/Girl Twin Nursery

Our nursery definitely reflects our love for the beach. It works for babies, but it doesn’t feel overwhelmingly like a baby’s room. The colors and the fabrics make it super cozy. It’s one of the most soothing rooms in our home.
