Noah’s Camp In Party
Our oldest son’s birthday is in January, and this year he celebrated his golden birthday–7 on the 7th. We decided to incorporate one of his favorite summer pastimes into his winter birthday and went with a camping theme.

A pink, green, and butterfly themed first birthday for my little girl and her cousin (born two weeks a part). You can read all about it on my blog, http://namesakedesign.blogspot.com/2011/04/pretty-in-pink.html.
Featuring a diaper cake as the main thing on the dessert/candy table as a gift for the mom-to-be. I carried the turtle theme and the carnation flower arrangements the guest tables as well. These flower arrangements were done using recycled bean cans and covered with scrapbooking paper in a variety of patterns. I ventured into making fondant turtles for the cupcakes as well as my usual cupcake toppers to complement the cupcake stands. A customized banner and beautiful balloons tied it all together. The candy table featured mini marshmallows, sour gumballs, circus peanuts, orange gummies and other yummy treats for the kids. As party favors we gave cello bags filled with chocolates and hand-dipped Oreo cookies in colored white chocolate, made by yours truly. www.followyouflutterby.blogspot.com
For my son’s third birthday I decked the house with dinos. The kids and grown up loved the theme.
