Nautical Nursery
I wanted something with soft colors and we love the ocean, so this room was born.

Nursery with wall painting and decals of sea world I illustrated. If you like it you can find more animals on my facebook page
Our intention with the design of our first child’s nursery was to create a room that could grow with him. We didn’t want it to be too ‘baby’.
Both my husband and I have grown up on the water and enjoy all the activities that go along with that lifestyle. We wanted to reflect our love of offshore fishing and the nautical lifestyle. Unfortunately, the majority of nautical themed nursery items are sailboat related. Although we appreciate the beauty of sailboats, our families have never been into sailing as a hobby. Creating a space that reflected our boating and beach lifestyle, required a little more creativity on my part.

Sea themed Nursery for my baby boy
My husband is from the Caribbean so I wanted a beautiful ocean theme for our son. This room was previously an indoor greenhouse (hence all the windows) so the floor is slightly angled and has a tile floor. This was completely redone and I installed carpet and lots of elbow grease.
Our little mermaid is turning two and we celebrated under the sea style!
Dad’s love for fishing, and my love for trends turned into a Nautical Fishing party!
Cute mermaid room with under the sea elements loosely painted around the room. Chelsey loves the ocean and especially mermaids!
Tyler’s nursery is an” Under the Sea” themed Nursery. We used vivid colors for the ocean, waves and sky to create a soothing, but exciting colorful space for our baby boy to play, learn and grow in.
A nautical Inspired room for baby Finley Jacob.
I wanted to create a baby girls nursery that was not too “baby” and not too “girlie”. I think I succeeded on both ends, and love the result!
I fell in love with this modern under the sea crib bedding before I even knew if I was going to have a boy or a girl. Good thing it could go either way. I was on a very tight budget with this room so I made a lot of what is in the room or I bought something that was very inexpensive and altered it to make it look like more than it was. My only item that I was sad I couldn’t get was the Eames molded plastic rocker. That would have made this room perfect!
A girly version of the ever popular boy nautical themed nursery. Crafted from authentic finds ….like 100 year old oars, real buoys, fisherman’s wheels and nets….her room came together and is ready to set sail!
This client lives just a few miles from the Pacific Ocean and wanted the sea to be an underlying theme in a modern setting. She was not afraid to use bold colors and embraced the energy that the painted ceiling and bold fabrics created in the nursery.
beach/nautical baby boy’s room
When we moved into our house my daughter was right on the cusp of moving into her big girl bed. So instead of just redoing her nursery I wanted to give her a room she could grow into for a some years.
