Oh sweet baby! This past weekend I put together the most vibrant and gorgeous candy buffet table for a baby shower. Filled with DIY projects, this creative candy buffet was a hit with the guests! I loved the final product so much that I couldn’t wait to share it with you. I hope that it provides you inspiration for your next baby shower or candy buffet.
For Charlotte’s first birthday, I created a butterfly garden party in pinks, white and ivory with butterflies, burlap, mason jars, tissue pom poms, and other vintage touches.
Vincent was born 16 weeks premature, so we had a formal shower after he was born. The shower was at a banquet hall, on a Sunday afternoon. There were approx 75 guests in attendance. Appetizers were served during the cocktail hour, which included punch, soda, and mimosas. A sit down luncheon was served afterwards, followed by cake and pastries.
Bright and colorful, young and fun… this party was packed-full of treats for everyone with a sweet tooth!
The theme was dress up time for my daughter’s shower. Everything was pink and green , there was a candy buffet for the mom to be who craves nothing but candy, and there were tutus as centerpieces, and pretty pink dresses made out of pink napkins, & pink powder puffs given as favors. Everyone was also given a pink boa.

This is a baby shower my husband and myself threw in honor of our sweet baby girl due on November 8th.
Featuring a diaper cake as the main thing on the dessert/candy table as a gift for the mom-to-be. I carried the turtle theme and the carnation flower arrangements the guest tables as well. These flower arrangements were done using recycled bean cans and covered with scrapbooking paper in a variety of patterns. I ventured into making fondant turtles for the cupcakes as well as my usual cupcake toppers to complement the cupcake stands. A customized banner and beautiful balloons tied it all together. The candy table featured mini marshmallows, sour gumballs, circus peanuts, orange gummies and other yummy treats for the kids. I am so excited to show you this Hot Pink and Red baby shower we created this weekend. The couple picked the best combination of treats to be included in their dessert buffet. They choose pink and red rock candy sticks, cotton candy, mini cupcakes, chocolate drizzled rice krispys, our bubblegum lollipops, candy apples, pink chocolate caramel apples, and strawberry mini cheese cake squares.
