Baby Girl’s Nursery
I wanted a feminine nursery that incorporated elements of clean lines as well as traditional. We wanted a cohesive look, but not too match-matchy. I’m so lucky to have a handy husband and a mom who paints well!

My daughter’s “not-too-girly” nursery.
This nursery was an absolute work of love by my mom. She is a DIY queen and the result is a room that is completely DIY, hand-me-down or re-purposed. The only thing bought was the bookshelf.
This is my new-born niece’s nursery. It was designed before we knew she was a little girl so the goals for the room were to be gender-neutral and also soft and sweet. Her mom, Leigh, has a great design sense and brought us in to help with colors.
I wanted a nursery that would be personal and cozy. So I incorporated vintage fabrics from my grandmother, hung personal messages to the baby from friends and family, and constructed an all female family tree!
