Bright Modern Nursery with Parisian Flare

This nursery came together so seamlessly… it all started with a whimsical mural that inspired a blush pink, mauve and yellow colour palette — a combination that i’ve completely fallen in love with. When we started layering in some of the accessories, like the cute bow mobile, Magnolia Home low-pile rug, bold & unique cushions, and whimsical art, the vision really started to take shape. My Clients wanted a bright space that still felt soft and calming, and we accomplished just that. The glider, acylic crib and jenny lind bookcase bring in some really interesting shapes, textures and materials, which are musts in any space that I design. I adore how this nursery feels like a little ray of sunshine… so bright & warm!

Harleigh Brooke’s Bowtique

As a mother of two boys, you can only imagine how excited I was to finally get to buy pink for someone other than myself. I have always dreamed of pageants, playing dress up, pigtails and hair bows.  So I knew her nursery was going to be my main focus while I was pregnant. I spent almost 6 months on her room, and I love every aspect of it. I like to think of myself as a DIYer and I think I am creative. I love putting my own spin on things, and I LOVE Pinterest. So there are many Pinterest inspired things in her room.

Vintage Inspired Gender Reveal Party

My dear friends, who have struggled with infertility, are expecting their 1st child in October (a boy named Keller), and are moving out of town before the baby is due. Since I couldn’t throw them a shower I wanted to help celebrate this baby by throwing them a gender reveal party. After a yummy dinner the gender of the baby was revealed to the parents and guests by everyone biting into a cupcake that had either blue (boy) or yellow (girl) in the center.By the way….they are having a BOY!

Sienna’s Vintage Inspired Nursery

For Sienna’s space, I wanted to do something you didn’t really see in nurseries and painted floors was just that. The perfect shade of mint with some white and coral stripes…I decided to DIY many elements in the room seeing we were on a budget. A coral ruffled lamp shade, a doily feature wall for that extra touch of girly, a  embroidery hoop bow mobile, fake book jackets to match the nursery colors and some original artwork.
