Hugo is a vibrant and curious 4-year-old with a strong point of view on what he likes. We set out to create a fun and unique room for him in our new home, letting him help with the design process in every step. We wanted him to feel creative and comfortable in the new house and by letting him have control over his own space, we knew he’d be right at home.
I am not a big fan of pastel colors so I wanted something bright and fun for Emmalyn’s nursery. Her nursery is a pretty small room so I also needed to be extra creative with the space. I even took the closet door off and hung a curtain there instead to gain a few extra feet of space!
A vintage modern travel nursery for my son Ellis. Full of color, pattern, vintage pieces, modern accents, and personal touches. It is a welcoming and fun space where I am reminded of great past adventures and can’t wait for new ones with the little man!
Our mission with this nursery was to create a fun, functional space that was true to our personalities. A lot of time and thought went into each and every detail. We had DIY projects, we re-purposed old furniture and shopped for unique items to use as accessories. We placed an emphasis on developing a place that will inspire Milo to be the creative, fun-loving child we hope him to be and we did it!
A modern nursery that my son can grow into.
I needed to create a fun room for Kiki, a 9 year old girl. The room needed a sleep area plus an arts and crafts area to nurture her creativity. Kiki is very creative and artsy and I needed the room to reflect that. Once we settled on the colors, the rest sort of came together.
Orange and Blue Transportation themed room with a little super Grover thrown in.
My husband and I created this room for our baby girl due this summer and love how it turned out!
I swore I would never paint a room pink if I had a little girl…. well never say never!
We have a tiny, rented space for our soon-to-be-arriving little one, and will be moving soon and leaving furniture behind. But I could not let go of my visions of a fabulous nursery, so on a tight budget have pulled together what I think is a playful, modern, gender-neutral nursery, bursting with color!
Contemporary boy’s nursery, designed also for his toddler years. Budget room in a rented home.
