Eclectic Boys Nursery

Robert’s nursery was the first room we completed in our new house. My sister-in-law hand painted the accent wall and I painted the dresser in the same color blue. The shelves are filled with sentimental pieces, like my childhood teddy bear, a framed Hermès coloring book that was a wedding gift from a friend, and Robert’s favorite book “Mommy in my Pocket,” written by his grandma. The gallery wall is a collection of pictures and frames from different places that I’ve collected over the year, including Pop Art prints of our two dogs Moose and Bear. There’s a lot going on in this room but somehow I think it all works!
*Please note the room was styled for these photos – the plant is not normally within reach of the crib.

Contemporary + Minimal Nursery

Our nursery became inspired after we found this wallpaper shortly after finding out we were expecting a little boy! We knew we wanted this to be the accent wall, but we also wanted to add a textured wall, using 1×4 trim. We decided to go with a dark grey for this wall and go with a lighter grey for the other two walls. We went with a simple 3-in-1 white crib, functional for our growing boy. Additionally, we came across this beautiful navy dresser with brass hardware which then inspired us to add gold accents throughout the room. We added the hatch changing table to the top of our dresser. We found a neutral rocking chair, along with some simple white shelving. I then found this simple pouf from crate & barrel which can be used as an ottoman or extra seating.  A rug adds warmth to any room, and we went with a simple design to not take away from the space. Our faux fig leaf tree adds a pop of interest, next to our floor lamp giving additional lighting on those late newborn nights.

Come Fly With Me – Grayson’s Vintage/Modern Nursery

Wanting to instill a love of travel in our little one, we desiged Grayson’s nursery around all things travel in a vintage/mordern way. From the antique dresser, buffet, and globe, to the modern chervron rug and travel fabric, this room clearly is all about traveling the world. For a personal touch, we also framed vinatge maps of San Francisco (my hometown), Denver (my husband’s hometown), and Phoenix (where we currently reside and where Baby G will be born).
