Bird cage

Bear started out in the living room of our one-bedroom condo, but soon ended up taking over our bedroom and moving us to the finished basement. Because we’d already made a million changes to our home, I didn’t want to make one more, so repainting our bedroom for Bear was ruled out. Thus, I needed to work with the color of the walls as they were: a deep, vibrant blue. This is the result.

This is a fun nursery filled with DIY projects and thrift store makeovers.  The budget was tight so we used things we already had and inexpensive treasures we found along the way.  I played with patterns and textures to keep things sophisticated yet playful.  photo credit: http://blog.amoryanderson.com/
