A big thank you to all those who came out last Friday night to support breast cancer research. The “Celebration of Hope” event took place at the gorgeous Newport Cottages store in Newport Beach, CA where the pink Hope Crib took center stage.
Angela Chee, of The Zen Mom, reported for Project Nursery and shares with us a beautiful video capturing the evening’s festivities in an effort to raise money for Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
Celebrity nursery designers, Gerri Panebianco and Naomi Alon of Little Crown Interiors were the force behind the event planning. Guests included friends, family, new moms, new babies and industry colleagues such as the OC Baby Planner, Denise Xagorarakis (far right).
The raffle was certainly a highlight, but more so was the expression of the lucky winners.
Our friend Christina Oh, of PLUSH, fared pretty well herself!
Sponsor Cameron Hughes Wine kept the party going (psst…this a must try everyone!).
And the first 50 to donate received generous gift boxes that included a $50 OpenSky gift card to kick off their holiday shopping.
Here we are at the end of the evening with the very lovely Laila Ali. As a Hope Crib owner herself, she came out to show her support.
Project Nursery would like to thank our hosts and friends at Newport Cottages, Little Crown Interiors and Full Spectrum Photography. Keep up the awesome work guys! We’re thrilled to be partners.

I wanted the Hope Crib for my baby girl (born Oct. 4), with plans of getting the Celine bed when she’s old enough. But I just couldn’t afford it. Sigh.
