When we purchased this home last summer we knew baby #4 was a possibility. We didn’t want to add on to make room for baby so we decided to turn our master bedroom closet into a nursery. Our master bedroom has a lot of wasted space so we built a new closet in the unused area. It wasn’t until demolition that we realized that the closet ( now nursery) was originally a room which made framing a breeze. We demoed the closet, removed the carpet, framed the door so we can access the room through the hallway, sealed the doorway going into the master bath and painted the ceiling and baseboards. Since this room is kind of small, I wanted to wallpaper the whole room to make the space pop! I wanted this to be budget friendly so I shopped on our local garage sale sites and found this wicker rocking chair and side table. I used fabric from one of my favorite designers, Caitlin Wilson and recovered the cushion and ottoman. The nursery is simple, traditional and perfect for our new addition.
