This project was one that came together so seamlessly! The starting point was definitely this incredible Sandberg wallpaper, which sets the vibe for the entire space. I wanted to keep a strong ‘tone on tone’ colour direction with tons of white and grey, but loved the idea of juxtaposing it with hints of rattan and pops of warm colours.
We went with a very light ‘abc’ theme by adding in some fun artwork, a machine washable rug from Lorena Canals and a fun book library on display for easy access. From a functional perspective, we did a full wall of toy storage using IKEA units. I love these particular ones because the various bins make it so easy to keep toys neatly organized. We also wanted to set the boys up with a nice workspace area that they could grow into with this wonderful table and spindle chairs from Pottery Barn Kids. We even added in a fun blackboard to spark creativity! This space is now a laid-back and inviting room the entire family can enjoy together; it’s as easy as A, B, C.

Rebecca has had a natural talent and passion for interior design from a very young age. Following the birth of her children, she realized that her creativity was best channeled by designing and styling spaces for little ones. And so came to life her interiors studio, Maison Ellie.
Her bright and natural aesthetic is layered with texture and eclectic flare. She designs rooms that are both approachable and functional for the little one using it, while equally stylish and beautiful for the whole family to enjoy. Each space is packed with uniquely curated touches aimed to reflect the child's personality and equipped to grow with them for years to come.
