Really cute! I have been looking all over creation for wall mounted book displays that didn’t cost a couple hundred dollars. Where did you get yours?

I like vintage! I am in love with those vintage painted tin plates. And the bookshelf…. I never thought these were spice racks! So resourceful and creative of you.

I love this room! I have those curtains in my living room & am thinking of moving them to my bedroom when we move this summer. This just gave me more motivation! :)
& to nblackmon, you can get wall mounted displays at IKEA. I have bought a couple there. LOVE them!

Thanks! And yes, those bookshelves are actually spice racks from IKEA. They are really reasonable too! I got mine for $3.99 each but I do think they have raised the price to $6.99 now. But still a good buy!

The framed artworks are so cute and whimsically vintage. And those vintage tin plates are a keeper! Are they really yours from childhood, or did you get them somewhere?
Beautiful! I too was inspired by Nora’s nursery on Oh-Dee-Doh and I have a Jenny Lind crib waiting to be painted. How did you paint yours? I am finding it very difficult to find any water-based non-toxic spray paints. Did you use a paint sprayer? Love the earthy touch of the curtains and the browns. Really adds more to the vintage vibe!

Nora’s nursery was part of my inspiration too and we also had trouble finding the water based spray paint! My sister offered us her paint gun so we went with gallons of Olympics No-VOC for the primer and yellow.

Love this nursery! Great job. I am following your blog as well. Thank you for the inspiration. I love the gender neutral design…since i’m not sure if i’m having a boy or girl. Thanks for sharing!

Very cute room! I love that you used many things that were not intended to be used in a nursery (spice racks, “grown up” rug and curtains, etc). It gives it a fresh, hip feel.
