I’m an Interior Designer and have waited for the day to design our baby’s Nursery for what seems like forever!! When we found out we were having a girl, everything just kind of fell into place. I’ve always loved modern style clean-lined furniture but have never really been a fan of traditional pink girls nurseries, so I feel like I kind of put my own twist on it in a not so girly way, but still keeping a sweet feminine classic feel. My first find for the Nursery was the York floral wallpaper which started my inspiration for the rest of the room. The Sputnik chandelier is probably my other favorite item in the room, besides of course the gray crib from Dwell Studios. And the Flamingo was painted with much love by Ava’s Mommy:) We also up-cycled an old chest that was my husband’s as a child and I painted it to use as our changing table. My husband and I are both so pleased with how her room turned out and can’t wait to meet our sweet little girl!!

I have that same wallpaper book here now, debating that same wallpaper. I really like it! What about drapes, how did you select them?
