This is Farmhouse Chic

While exploring the many different collections of Natart, we’ve realized something. Whether the collection is super modern, rustic chic, traditional or timelessly classic, you can depend on the fact that you will get quality design and craftsmanship every. single. time. So when we started to explore Natart’s two farmhouse collections—Sevilla and Cortina—it was no surprise that we encountered Natart’s trademark design features that sets their furniture apart.

Natart Nursery Furniture Cortina Collection

First, let’s just say it, farmhouse chic is having a moment. This is not the shabby chic of decades past. It’s an updated take with old world inspiration. For example, the Cortina collection was inspired by the Alpine region near Cortina, Italy, where you would have been able to find artisanal furniture painstakingly created to last a lifetime plus. Natart makes it their business to keep these old world traditions alive and make furniture inspired by antiques that have stood the test of time generation after generation.

The Cortina collection is available in seven finishes and each features Natart’s hand brushing technique, which results in a beautiful custom weathered finish that creates a lovely texture and adds warmth to the design.

Now the Sevilla collection takes its inspiration from across the sea in the Andalusian region of farmland. In this collection you can find hints of its farmhouse inspiration but this time with cleaner lines for a more modern finish. The furniture also features metal embellishments like black iron drawer pulls and black metal trim, which add an industrial chic feel to the pieces along with their rustic charm.

Available in four different finishes, the Sevilla collection also has a distressed finish, which adds interest and a unique look to each piece.

Both collections feature a 5-in-1 crib, which can be converted into a toddler bed, daybed, double bed or double bed headboard. This is a piece that will not only last through all of your babies but can also continue to be used once your baby days are over. When you want a long life out of a piece of furniture, it is worth investing in this level of craftsmanship. The dressers feature extra deep drawers with special drawer glides that not only run smoothly but also help prevent pinched fingers with its slow close mechanism. Any parent who has experienced their toddler accidentally shutting a finger in their dresser will appreciate this one! Like all of Natart’s collections, the furniture is Greenguard Gold Certified to be low VOC, helping to keep your nursery a safe place for baby.
