When designing this feminine nursery retreat for one of our new nieces, the jumping off point was the antique turquoise dresser passed down through three generations. In need of a little love, we sprayed the hardware gold and distressed the edges softly to give it a new life while maintaining its colourful impact and vintage feel.
The next piece of inspiration was the gorgeous wallpaper from York Wallcoverings. Its whimsical pattern in hues of pinks, corals and the same vibrant turquoise as the dresser, made it a perfect choice for this sweet but lively little girls room. And this room wouldn’t be complete without another little DIY project: the ceiling light fixture made from a tealight lantern! Sweet dreams Leni Marie :)
