Inspired by 80’s prep- think Lacoste polo shirts, coupled with 90’s Shabby Chic-think wrought iron chandeliers and water colored flowers, I designed my baby girl Emerald a nursery I believe she’ll really be able to grow up in.

Does anyone know where to buy that mobile? Could be butterflies or flowers? I love how full it is – very cute.

Thanks deannakay! The mobile is from Baby’s R Us, and yes…it is butterflies and flowers. I love the way it swirls so easily on it’s own…Emerald loves it!

I’m thinking of doing vinyl words in apple green underneath the lanterns for some contrast……anyone have any thoughts? I have the art already, I just don’t want to use it as is….they are words that describe her personality. I want to place the words individually on either wall.
Help.

First off… I think this is lovely enough to eat! Great work!!!
As for your dilemma, I am thinking that since you already have Emerald’s photo’s near the lanterns, you could just leave it be without the vinyl lettering… that way the focus is on Emerald.
If you really want to have the lettering, my suggestion would be to move one of pictures to the blank wall and splash the lettering whimsically beneath or on top it. You could also try moving the bottom picture to the other wall, replacing it with the lettering. Then on the other wall, you could have the lettering on top. The alternating pattern (picture then lettering, lettering then picture) would create a sort of organization for both walls. What do you think.
