I love this nursery!  It’s adorable!  We’re having a baby girl (due in 3 weeks) and did a soft elephant gray paint color too.  We accented it w/ bright green, pink, and aqua.

      Thank you!

      Congrats, GlamGirl83!

KWallace – It’s Valspar, but I can’t recall or find the shade color. We did purchase it at Lowes, if this helps at all!

      This nursery is PERFECTION.

Can you please answer a question about your Baxton Studio rocker? I am looking at buying it for kid #2’s nursery. The room is small, so this chair seems like a great option for space (and I really don’t like the Walmart glider we bought for kid #1).

I have concerns though…about comfortability/practicality. How do you use this chair? Did you buy it to breastfeed/rock your baby to sleep in? If so, is it comfortable for extended breastfeeding sessions? Have you liked it? Was it comfy enough to sit in while recovering from the birth process? (We all know how fun that is.)

I’e tried to find reviews on the chair online, but there are few (and virtually nonexistent in reference to its use in a nursery!).

If you could help out, I would GREATLY appreciate it! You can contact me via leaving a comment, or email: bebedulcemobiles@gmail.com.

Thanks so much! Gorgeous nursery (and congrats on now being a 1-month mama!).

      anniemariewebb:

I saw that you’re looking for input on the Baxton Studio Rocker — that’s actually based on the Eames Rocker. Here are some comments about the use of the rocker in a nursery: http://www.ohdeedoh.com/ohdeedoh/open-thread/open-thread-9-022830.

While my wife and I actually have an Eames Rocker in our nursery and love it (as we have had it for a number of years), we opted to buy a Monte Luca Glider to use on a daily basis because its cushioned and my wife intends to use it for breast feeding. Mind you, we’re not quite there yet as our baby isn’t due for a couple of more weeks.
