Making your own baby food seems intimidating and hard (spoiler alert: it’s not). You wonder, Will I have the time? But I’ve never been a good cook. Let me tell you from experience, making homemade baby food is easy and surprisingly fast. And nothing beats the feeling of serving your little one a dish of homemade baby food. You know exactly what’s in it, and it’s fresh with the ingredients you choose for your baby. Did we mention it’s cheaper too?
Sometimes confidence comes with having the right tools for the job, and Sage Spoonfuls‘ whole business is built around supporting parents and creating quality products to make baby food making easier for moms and dads. Today they’re giving away an entire Sage Spoonfuls baby food making prize package, including the Glass Homemade Essentials Package, Glass Make in Bulk Storage Set, Bamboo Baby Spoons and On-the-Go Cooler with Freezer Pack (a $140 value) to one lucky Project Nursery reader.
The Glass Homemade Essentials Package includes a baby food recipe book, six glass 4oz storage jars, 60 labels, an immersion blender with food processor attachment and pocket guide (a quick feeding reference). I loved using an immersion blender to make baby food for my babies. I found it so much easier than a blender. If you haven’t used one before, they are really simple to operate and, true to their name, go right into the bowl/pot of food to puree it in no time. You’ll love it for making soups and sauces for you, too! The food processor attachment is perfect for when your baby moves on to “chunky” baby food.
The Glass Make in Bulk Storage Set includes four 4oz jars and two 8oz jars, perfect to add to your gear when you want to make more in advance. You’d be surprised how many servings you can get from one session of homemade baby food making. They are freezer safe, microwave safe and dishwasher safe (top rack), which means they’ve got you covered from start to finish. No need to transfer to multiple containers. You also get 60 additional labels.
You can take your meals on the road or send them off to day care with the On-the-Go Cooler with Freezer Pack set. The easy-to-clean cooler bag has plenty of room for baby’s food and drink. The freezer pack is curved to fit nicely around the jars, keeping them cool and neatly in place. And how cute is that polka dot lining!
Let’s not forget Sage Spoonfuls’ sweet bamboo spoons!
WIN IT! One Project Nursery reader will win the Sage Spoonfuls prize package, which includes Glass Homemade Essentials Package, Glass Make in Bulk Storage Set, Bamboo Baby Spoons and On-the-Go Cooler with Freezer Pack (US and Canada residents only).

This is such and exciting giveaway! I can’t wait to make my own baby food. I love to cook and that was one of my concerns with store bought baby food. There are lots of organic options these days, so that helps. I bought the sage spoonfuls recipe book, and just loved it.

The jars look great! I usually have to transfer the frozen food from a bag into another container for heating. I love the idea of freezing the food and being able to defrost it safely for baby in the same container.
