A fun train themed party with a modern twist of red, blue and aqua. While our inspiration was Thomas the Tank Engine, there were no cartoon characters actually used. The party took place in our backyard and the real excitement came when a trackless train gave rides around the neighborhood!

Your backyard is perfect for parties! I see the Hollywood sign and all the green surroundings, and I’m so jealous! :) Anyway, the red/blue/white motif couldn’t be any more perfect for a little boy. These little guys sure love Thomas the Engine, don’t they?

Lovely party details. The party’s theme and colors, and its overall look, were simple and not over-the-top. Everything looks clean and well-executed. Blue and red seem a nice color for both boys and girls. And the trackless train ride was a great idea. Kids are thrilled by those things. I’m sure all your little guests had a blast!

Such a smart 1st birthday party! I can’t imagine the other first birthday parents thought you were nuts – just green with envy and probably just a bit panicky on what on earth they can do to have such a cool party!
