Nursery Daybeds

It’s always great any time you can create more than one area in a room for people to relax and enjoy. It gives the room so many more options for use and also provides options for creativity. The daybed is a nice solution to having a bed and a crib in the same space; it provides another sleeping space in your home and can be an inviting place for mom or family to hang out with baby. The daybed then can be the transition for your child from crib to big bed later on.

Daybeds can be used to save space in a small room. When you don’t have room for a chair, the daybed feels more like a small couch and is a sweet spot to cuddle or read a book with friends.

As time goes by, you can update the daybed with a more sophisticated look. Bold patterns make this daybed perfect for any room in the house.

These are such beautiful day beds! All of them are lovely that I cannot even pick one I like the best.

These are just wonderful ideas. Unfortunately for me, we had to do away with a daybed because of the small size of the room.

I put a daybed into our nursery (http://projectnursery.com/projects/blakes-vintage-retreat/). Planning on it being multi-functional over the years. It’s a great investment piece that can be used in other rooms or grow with the child too.

I love daybeds. I have yet to meet a daybed that’s not comfortable. :)
