Our son Julian loves robots, so we decided a robot big boy room was the perfect choice when we recently remolded his bedroom.

That bed looks really awesome for something that came from Craigslist. Julian’s grandpa could make a living out of these life-sized robots. I think they’re great. I would like to suggest that it also serves a purpose such as a storage bin or cabinet or something. But still as it is, it looks great!

Where did u get some of the figurines u have sitting around? Love the room so cute!!!!
Ysczabel, thank you! The robot was actually made for my son’s robot and rockets birthday party (you can see it here http://www.quaintlygarcia.com/2011/05/jds-robots-rockets-2nd-birthday-party.html). The robot lights up and moves its arms. Making it to some type of storage is a great idea. Right now my son uses it as a very big night light, LOL.
I agree with you there Ysczabel, the robot is very lovely but I think it takes up too much space not to do anything else. But I love this room too and seeing that my two year old loves robots as well, I will definitely consider this room as an inspiration.
Now that is a great idea. Having something from your party and using it in your son’s room :) I almost always just throw everything away, except for the poms which I can reuse for the room.
I love the birthday party, by the way, some great ideas there!

Mrsblakney, thank you! I bought most of the robots on Amazon and at http://www.tintoyarcade.com.
