Architectural Digest hosted their annual Design Show at Pier 94 in NYC this past weekend. I walked the show and had fun trendspotting some great products that are right in line with Project Nursery Trends for 2019!
Kiara Matos is a Venezuelan born ceramicist, and she caught my eye with this whimsical ceramic wall art depicting colorful birds and oversized glossy greenery. If these precious pieces don’t scream Enchanted Forest, then I don’t know what does!

Next up are these charming, personalized, hand carved oak swings from The Oak & Rope Company. They have a wide array of customizable pieces. Benches, growth charts, bookends and swings are just a few goodies you might add to your Boho Farmhouse nursery for that rustic charm. You can customize each piece with a special saying or notable date.
Breon Dunigan’s “Trophy Heads” are some seriously charming wall sculptures using repurposed textiles. This buffalo plaid version had me “Mad for Plaid.”
I met Sharon Lee and knew I had to share one of her textiles from her company Krane Home for Project Nursery’s Big On Botanicals trend. They offer luxury textiles and home goods, and this Gingham Jungle print hits the nail on the head—it makes it super easy to go green!
OYOY has made the sweetest collection of nostalgic toys for your tots, and these stuffed animals would be the perfect addition to your Handcrafted Nursery. Cozy bohemian vibes all the way! The shapes and styles of these snugglers evoke a very folksy hand-crafted aesthetic.
It was such a blast spotting some of Project Nursery’s top nursery trends for 2019. Which of these trends will you embrace in your space?
