In the Nursery with Katrina Scott from Tone it Up

Today we are touring the beautiful nursery of Katrina Scott, co-creator of the fitness community Tone It Up. The nursery is filled with boho charm, personal details and gorgeous finishing touches. We think you are going to love every inch of it. You can follow along with Katrina and sweet baby Isabelle, as well as Katrina’s own post-natal fitness journey, on her personal instagram account. And you can also check out the Tone It Up app for pre- and post-natal workouts, nutrition programs and fitness classes for you. Thank you, Katrina, for sharing with us!

Where did you pull inspiration for your nursery design?
I’ve always loved pink pampas grass, so as soon as I found wallpaper that I loved, I designed everything around that.

What part of the design process did you enjoy the most?
The anticipation of her coming was the most exciting. I think hanging all of her clothes was my favorite part.

What is your favorite part or detail in your nursery?
Her photos! I printed pictures of both her great-grandmothers who she’s name after (Isabelle Margaret) and photos from our babymoon and her newborn shoot. It makes everything feel so special.

What is one thing that you would tell other parents to consider when starting their own nursery design project?
It definitely helped for us to start with the wallpaper and to make a little inspo collage on our phone. We added the crib, dresser, mobile and other details as soon as we nailed down the vibe.

Also, don’t stress about getting it done before your due date. We didn’t finish ours until months after she was born, and she’s still not sleeping in there! So just don’t worry about getting everything done.

The most important things to focus on are your pregnancy and to bring your little miracle home. Everything else comes together!
