These DIY Sprinkle Balloons are Certain to Sweeten Your Party

I’ve been wanting to try these sprinkle balloons for a while now, and my son’s birthday was the perfect excuse to learn how to make them! If I had only known how easy these are to create, I would have used them sooner. Plus, it only took six twist balloons to create an entire backdrop of sprinkles!

They are really so simple, and all you will need to create these adorable party decorations is twist balloons, a balloon pump, tape and scissors. I purchased the Qualatex Tropical assortment of balloons to match my son’s party; you can find all different colors available online.

You are going to knot each twist balloon in three places dividing your balloon up into quarters.

Inflate the balloon to the first knot. Tie it closed and you will snip the remaining uninflated balloon off.

Repeat blowing up, tying, and cutting this until you have four small “sprinkle” balloons from each of your knotted twist balloons!

Use several different colors, and with only a few twist balloons, you will have a bunch of sprinkles! You can use your favorite tape to apply them to the wall to make a backdrop or use them on the table to make a centerpiece—your imagination is the limit!
