These DIY Sprinkle Balloons are Certain to Sweeten Your Party

After seeing these cute sprinkle balloon on Oh Happy Day, I was excited to try them, and I was shocked at how simple they are to make! I thought it would be cute to create a backdrop to match the confetti napkins I bought for my sons birthday party. If I had only known how easy it was, I would have tried this sooner! Plus, it only took six twist balloons to create an entire backdrop! Here’s what I did:

They are really so simple, and all you will need to create these adorable party decorations is twist balloons, a balloon pump, tape and scissors. I purchased the Qualatex Tropical assortment of balloons to match my son’s party; you can find all different colors available online.

You are going to knot each twist balloon in three places dividing your balloon up into quarters.

Inflate the balloon to the first knot. Tie it closed and you will snip the remaining uninflated balloon off.

Repeat blowing up, tying, and cutting this until you have four small “confetti” or “sprinkle” balloons from each of your knotted twist balloons!

Use several different colors, and with only a few twist balloons, you will have a whole bunch! You can use your favorite tape to apply them to the wall to make a backdrop or use them on the table to make a centerpiece—your imagination is the limit!

This is adorable! Thank you for posting. It’s awesome when I’m not being linked to $40 balloons I can get on amazon for $9.

Whoa! It’s pretty crazy to see the same sprinkle ballon backdrop from Oh Happy Day with NO attribution! You even redid their same tutorial and still didn’t link back. I’m glad you used your own original photos, but this is still a huge “yikes!” for me, and a turn off for your entire blog
