This peach, chia seed and yogurt smoothie is the perfect healthy springtime treat—great for on-the-go too! Just pour into a Squeezie and throw into your bag. (For toddlers, big kids and adults.) Before combining foods, make sure your child has tried each one individually first with no reaction to it.
Peach, Chia Seed and Yogurt Smoothie
Note: Use organic ingredients whenever possible.
Makes 2 servings:
1 ripe peach – washed and chopped with skin on
1 tablespoon ground chia seeds
1.5 cups vanilla yogurt – can use dairy yogurt or non-dairy yogurt
Place ingredients into a blender or food processor and blend until smooth. Enjoy!
